Here's additional to my Lyrcis,lyics compilation. Green Day's Redundant. I like the simplicity of its music and the tone is quite emotional though. From its lyrics, I agree that our life is in such a repetition but we tend to add or less a few each day to make it worthwhile.
The song is also from Green Day's Nimrod album which I have mentioned from this Good Riddance post..

Green Day's Good Riddance (Time of your life)
In response to Ark's comments about adding Green Day's songs to my compilation, I'm adding Good Riddance (Time of your life) lyrcis,lyics and video as my first entry for this artist :). Why this song? It's just one of my favorites among Green Day's songs. The song is in Green Day's Nimrod album released on October 14, 1997 and got double platinum.
Also, the video won Best Alternative Video from MTV Awards in 1998 competing wtih Ben Folds Five — "Brick", Garbage — "Push It", Radiohead — "Karma Police", and The Verve — "Bitter Sweet Symphony" makes me likes it more. I know a lot of people who likes Alternative rock back in 90's loves this also ;)
As for the message of the song, it's about how fast life come and go. I also some of the lines like "Time grabs by the wrist,directs you where to go". We really don't where we'll be as time goes along, be it work or family.
