Young Michael Jackson

Michael started his pop sensation since he was 11 years of age as member of the Jackson 5. What others don't know was his physical and mental abused experience from his father.

From a young age Jackson was physically and mentally abused by his father, enduring incessant rehearsals, whippings and name-calling. Jackson's abuse as a child affected him throughout his grown life. In one altercation—later recalled by Marlon Jackson—Joseph held Michael upside down by one leg and "pummeled him over and over again with his hand, hitting him on his back and buttocks". For years afterward, Jackson suffered nightmares about being kidnapped from his bedroom.

In 1988, Jackson released his first autobiography, Moon Walk, which took four years to complete. Jackson told of his childhood, his experience in The Jackson 5 and the abuse he suffered as a child.[60] He also spoke of his plastic surgery, saying he had two rhinoplastic surgeries and the surgical creation of a cleft in his chin.[51] In the book, he attributed the change in the structure of his face to puberty, weight loss, a strict vegetarian diet, a change in hair style and stage lighting.[51] Moonwalk reached the top position on The New York Times best sellers' list.[61] The musician then released a film called Moonwalker, which featured live footage, music videos, and a feature film that starred Jackson and Joe Pesci. Moonwalker debuted atop the Billboard Top Music Video Cassette chart, staying there for 22 weeks. It was eventually knocked off the top spot by Michael Jackson: The Legend Continues

Michael Jackson died

The sad news has been spreading today. As expected, he will be coming back for unprecedented 50 shows at London arena. Really sad for fans of the King of Pop.

The public first knew him as a boy in the late 1960s, when he was the precocious, spinning lead singer of the Jackson 5, the singing group he formed with his four older brothers out of Gary, Ind. Among their No. 1 hits were "I Want You Back," "ABC" and "I'll Be There." Associated Press

Here's one of his songs that me and my wife really likes.

Condolence to the Jackson family.

Perez Hilton assaulted video

Wow..I never thought Perez would reach that far. Getting hit because of what he's doing? Not really sure about them, who's telling the truth or not.

Background: Perez accused Will.I.Am of Black Eyed Peas of hitting him at Toronto, Canada for the Much Music Award.

Here's the video of Will.I.Am

This must be the modern way of arguing..Btw, I also read from a blog that Perez got the attention of the Police by Twitting hehe.

Transformer 2 : Revenge of the fallen

Tranformer 2 will be out tomorrow in cinemas. Unfortunately, I can't watch it on wide screen because the city from where I reside is not updated in viewing movies. Usually new one comes out here about 1 to 2 months after its worldwide views.

Here are some posters of the film.

Hoping I can watch this movie within this month.

Hotmail. Is it still hot?

For me the most popular email provider is Yahoo!. It's rarely observed that people using other free email service provider like Hotmail, Gmail (though becoming popular too),Mail, AIM, GMX and etc. When you asked your newly found friend for his email account about 90% would say blahblah@yahoo.com or y.com (short for yahoo.com). Maybe, it's just here in the Philippines because per region/country it really varies.

When I first use the Internet way back in college (yah! i was already in college when i first surf the net that was 1998) and my first email address was from Mailcity (now owned by Lycos and not free anymore). By the way, my hotmail account was robthom-ian@hotmail.com (not really sure, but i used Rob Thomas of the Matchbox 20 as my netname).

But do you know that Hotmail was the first free email service provider? Yes! It's true. According to my research, way back 1996 it was the first to offer a free email account with @hotmail.com address and of course webbased. Before, sending email is quite cumbersome because a lot of stuff will be needed to setup and it cost a lot. Your ISP would give you a client program where you can access your email and will be configured by them. But after a year it was bought by Microsoft for more than $400M.

Unlike today, setting up an email is quite easy that even an grade school student could do. You just have to type from your browser the address of your desired email provider like Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail and etc. and sign-up for an account.

Somehow I would still consider Hotmail hot because at least it would reach below top 10 websites from popular web stats sites. In a review here, Hotmail is next to Yahoo! like in search engine market =). Anyway, it doesn't matter what's your email service as long as we'll be able to exchange email.

Super mario Bros.

Early this morning I've noticed at the Yahoo! page this game character. Do you know who's this? Well, he's Mario from the most famous Family Computer game console around 80's up to early 90's.

I've enjoyed playing this game starting Super Mario Bros 1 up to 3 I think. I know someone out there would remember the 100 lives in Mario 1 at stage 3-3 =).

Anyway, here's the latest about Super Mario.

Innovative Nintendo game help system to debut this year
by Ben Silverman

June 16 11:20 A.M.

To many gamers, nothing kills the fun of playing a game like getting completely stuck on a particularly difficult section. But if Nintendo has their way, such frustration will soon become a thing of the past.

In an interview with USA Today, legendary Nintendo designer Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed that the company's rumored in-game help system (initially dubbed the "Kind Code," but now tentatively called "demo play") will make its first appearance in the upcoming New Super Mario Bros. for the Wii, which hits store shelves this holiday.
