It's more than 10 years ago since i left public schools. Brigada eskwela by then was not that popular as term for voluntarily serving the school your are going to.
During my elementary and high school days, we were by then asked by our teachers to bring "bolo" (cutting knife) , broomstick , cellophane or rice sacks for cleaning operations. For the first one or two weeks as far as i can remember, all we do is to clean or clearing grasses in our school premises.
As i watched from television in the last few days, parents are also going to school assisting teachers and other school staff in preparation for the upcoming school days. I also noticed that school buildings and other facilities are being repaired.
Every year or class opening, teachers/faculties or even principals complains about their buildings, room capacities to accomodated increasing number of students. But no action has been taken though ,to think that our government has a huge budget for education. What can we do? Just voluntarily dole out our own money and service just make our school or education system progress? Keep receiving from donor agencies? While children continue eating overpriced noodles?
Hay naku! Nakakapagod nang pakinggan!

Chatting with Web IRC at Mibbit.com
Nowadays chatting using IRC is not that popular anymore compare to my college days. When Yahoo Messenger (YM), Skype and other popular instant messaging (IM) software came to the scene, IRC chat clients gradually lost its popularity. Since I needed to use IRC client last year for chatting with fellow CakePHP, ExtJS and other Opensource community at freenode IRC server, I decided to look for Web IRC at Google.
Why I didn’t use the most popular IRC client MIRC? The answer is pretty straight. I don’t want to have additional software on my PC. So I started to use the Web IRC site “Mibbit”.
Btw, Mibbit is not just an web IRC client because you also login to your IM like YM and Twitter and you can also embed Mibbit as widget to your website as chat service.
Enjoy chatting with IRC.

Welcome to my latest blogsite - Philippine Cases
Last year as far as i can remember, i visited my friend and noticed him Googling(searching) for cases for his law subjects. I asked him immediately if there are sites that have those cases he's looking for and he answered me that there is but sometimes you still have to look for another sites.
Last May 2, i just decided to create a blog that will be a compilation of resolved cases in the Philippines. I know that there are other sites that have the same content with mine or let me say as my source. But what differs with my site is that i labeled cases so that users can easily browse/find cases they're looking for. So most likely, what will you see are just resolved cases issued by the Supreme Court. Also, I won't have any insights with regards to the cases because I'm not a law practitioner at all. What i really wanted to do when i decided to create the site was to simply compile and post it there.
Right now, i'm trying to make the site more visible to Google or other search engine so that it can be found at the first or at least third page of search results. On the other hand, Ark (Hakuna Matata) also suggested me to submit the said blog to blog directories so that it will increase its chances to land on the first page of Google search results and increase its traffic. Initially i have submitted the site to four blog directories and eventually late today, i will submit it to other directories.
By the way, the site was initially indexed few days after i created but not the keyword "philippine cases". Note: To know if your site is already indexed, you can type at Google search box "site:www.yoursite.com".
Hope you find my latest blogsite informative. (I know it's a tedious blogsite)

Yahoo! Alert: Important Information Regarding Your Yahoo! Account!!!?
It's been about a month since my last post. Just blogging about an email that i received earlier.
Here's the email.
If you ever received an email like this just disregard it because it's a "Phishing" email. I've been using Yahoo email service and never received like this before.
What's "Phishing" anyway? Phishing in computer terminologies is defined as process of attempting to acquire sensitive information such as username, password, credit cards and etc. by disguising their identity into something trustworthy.
For instance, in the email above, you would noticed that it came from Yahoo Inc. . It's never been an activity of such website to email and ask for your username and password because it is already accessible to them. Notice also the email address particularly on the URL address, it didn't came from yahoo.com but rather from live.com. Really unusual, logically Yahoo! would not use other company's email service because they already have such service.
My advice to Internet users like me are be keen on using your email, never entrust your sensitive information to anyone and have time to ask someone that knows about the email and/or Google it for you to know more information regarding the email that you received.
Hope i shared with you an informative post.
